I tried my own version of this several months ago. My shots weren’t as well exposed, but they were definitely sexier. Of course, Noah wasn’t going for sexy here—a television is the light source. I can’t think of a gloomier way to light a scene. (Maybe a pile of burning babies? The flames would provide warmer hues, though.)
