Massachusetts bill would seek to ban circumcision, even for Jews and Muslims, on persons under the age of 18.

For the purpose of this section, the term “genital mutilation” shall mean the removal or cutting or both of the whole or part of the clitoris, labia minora, labia majora, vulva, breast, nipple, foreskin, glans, testicle, penis, ambiguous genitalia, hermaphroditic genitalia, or any genital organ.

Note: any citizen in Massachusetts can submit a bill, hence the ‘by request’ parenthetical. This specimen is also more than a year old. Just food for thought.
